Playground rocks give kids climbing fun, right there in your play area. But where kids climb, they fall, and where they fall, you need to keep the surfacing in place. Our sturdy plastic borders are perfect for the job. They look like they're made from rock themselves, so they'll match your playground rocks and give a unified visual theme to the play area.

Border Dimensions
These plastic borders each measure 48" long (end to end). However, for measuring purposes, when the borders are overlapped and slotted together, each border gives 42" of length. The borders measure 8" tall. Sorry, only straight borders are available, not curved.
Border Colors
These borders are available in grey stone color only. Border Materials
The plastic borders are manufactured from polyethylene. They are hollow inside, but they have molded-in ribs inside, for extra strength. |
Border Installation
To install the plastic borders, the first step is to line them up on the ground, with the with the end section of each border overlapping the front section of the next border. Second, place the vertical metal spike into the opening in the top of each border timber. Third, use a mallet or sledgehammer to drive the spikes into the ground.
Border Uses
Our plastic borders are great for giving your playground a natural look. If you're looking for borders to match your playground rocks, these borders have a visually similar theme. For retaining surfacing materials like woodchips and engineered wood fiber, these borders can't be beat. |
